Who We Are
Look, we're not gonna hit you with the usual "we're passionate about cars" speech. Truth is, we started Jade Flare Continuum because we saw a massive gap in Vancouver's auto scene - nobody was really getting hybrid and EV tech right.
Back in 2018, when everyone was still treating electric vehicles like they were from outer space, we decided someone needed to step up. Our founder Marcus had been wrenching on hybrids since the early Prius days and honestly got tired of seeing folks get ripped off or turned away just 'cause their car plugged into the wall.
The Beginning
Started in a small bay off Commercial Drive with just two lifts and a dream. Marcus and Jenny (our co-founders) had more ambition than space, that's for sure. First customer was a Nissan Leaf that three other shops turned away.
Growing Pains
Expanded to four bays and brought on our first two techs - both certified in EV systems. Started seeing Teslas, Bolts, and even a couple of those funky i3s. Word got around that we actually knew what we were doing with high-voltage systems.
Leveling Up
Invested heavily in diagnostic equipment - we're talking proper EV-specific scan tools, battery analyzers, the whole nine yards. Also trained our entire team on the latest hybrid tech. Can't stay still in this industry.
Full Service
Moved to our current location at 1845 Commercial Drive. Eight bays, full diagnostic center, and yeah, we still do conventional repairs too. Not everyone's ready to go electric yet, and that's cool.
Today
We've worked on thousands of hybrids and EVs from every manufacturer you can think of. Our team's grown to 12 people, all trained and certified. We're not the biggest shop in Vancouver, but we're definitely the most obsessed with getting electric and hybrid systems right.
Everyone deserves a shop that actually understands their vehicle. Doesn't matter if it runs on gas, electrons, or both - if you're trusting us with your ride, we're gonna treat it right.
